This Editorial Policy describes the standards, principles, and processes that guide content creation at ReachMyBharat. It applies to all news articles, scheme guides, business reporting, and other editorial content published on reachmybharat.com.
We believe transparency about how we work is essential to earning and keeping reader trust. If you have questions about anything in this policy, contact us at editor@reachmybharat.com.
1. Our Editorial Mission
ReachMyBharat exists to provide Indian readers with accurate, accessible, and useful information on government schemes, news, business, and state-level developments. We aim to make complex topics understandable to readers across all educational and economic backgrounds.
2. Editorial Independence
Our editorial decisions are independent of:
- Political parties or political ideologies
- Government departments and agencies
- Advertisers and commercial partners
- Personal interests of staff members
Advertisements served on our site (including via Google AdSense and other ad networks) have no influence on our editorial coverage. We maintain a strict separation between advertising and editorial.
If we ever publish sponsored content, branded content, or paid partnerships, they will be clearly labelled at the top of the article with words like “Sponsored”, “Promoted”, “Partner Content”, or “Advertisement Feature”.
3. Sourcing Standards
Our content is built on credible sources. For every article, we follow these principles:
3.1 Primary Sources First
For government schemes and policy news, we consult primary sources whenever possible:
- Official government portals (.gov.in domains)
- PIB (Press Information Bureau) official press releases
- Ministry websites and official notifications
- Gazette notifications
- Regulatory filings (SEBI, RBI, IRDAI, etc.)
3.2 Secondary Sources
We supplement primary sources with reporting from established news organizations including PTI, ANI, Reuters, established national newspapers, and respected business publications. We attribute information to its source whenever we use it.
3.3 Verification
Before publishing any factual claim, especially time-sensitive details like dates, eligibility criteria, benefit amounts, and statistics, we verify the information against the primary source. If we cannot verify a claim, we either:
- Omit it from the article, or
- Clearly attribute it to the unverified source with appropriate caveats
4. Use of AI in Content Creation
We are transparent about our use of AI tools. Some of our content is initially drafted with the assistance of AI language models to improve speed and consistency. However, every published article goes through the following process:
- Topic identification тАФ Editorial team identifies relevant topics based on reader needs, news events, and search trends.
- Source gathering тАФ Relevant primary and secondary sources are collected for the topic.
- Draft generation тАФ AI tools may assist in drafting an initial version based on the gathered sources.
- Editorial review тАФ Every draft is reviewed by a human editor for: factual accuracy, source verification, clarity, completeness, and adherence to our editorial standards.
- Fact-checking тАФ Specific claims (dates, numbers, names, eligibility rules) are checked against primary sources.
- Editing & quality control тАФ The article is edited for tone, structure, SEO, and reader-friendliness.
- Publication тАФ Only after the above steps does the article go live.
We do not publish AI-generated content as raw output without human review. AI is a drafting tool; editorial judgment and accountability rest with our team.
5. Accuracy Standards
We commit to:
- Publishing factually accurate information based on verifiable sources
- Distinguishing clearly between fact, analysis, and opinion
- Marking opinion pieces and analysis explicitly
